The publication featured genuine insiders guides to European destinations, focusing on hotspot locations and keeping travellers up-to-date from the airport and its host city.
With more than 4.5 million passengers per year travelling through LJLA, as a business Voyage was an ideal vehicle to reach people who are either living in or visiting Liverpool.
As Sales and Marketing Director, I increased the circulation of the publication in Liverpool by 85% by introducing Voyage to Liverpool One and all of the major hotels and key visitor locations such as Liverpool One shopping centre.
To add value to our loyal readership I hosted contests with contest partners such as John Lewis and The Beatles Story.
As part of the marketing mix I set up and ran the social media channels for Voyage Magazine.
I secured meaningful advertising from Mersey Travel, Travelex, Mersey Ferries and more. I secured interviews from DJ Des Mitchell, Radio City’s own Leanne and Dave and I also introduced the popular Business and Pleasure section with Downtown in Business CEO Frank Mckenna who brought the feature to life with his considerable insights and business knowledge.
